I have always had a passion for sewing and the crafts, after leaving school I followed my passion into a course "Clothing Production, Cert III" I studied at TAFE for 2 years before deciding to get a full time job, at this point in my life my passion was pushed to one side well i filled my duties in full time employment. 4 years later I became pregnant with my beautiful daughter. After being on maturnity leave for 5 months or so I decided I no longer wanted to return to my current employment, I wanted to be able to spend time with my daughter and work at the same time, but this was not possible in my current position so I resigned from my employer. A few months later i decided it was time, I needed to find something I enjoyed and fill in the time at home with my beautiful daughter. So I started sewing again; I hadnt sewed in so long it took me a bit to get back into the knack of things but i soon did and I started sewing bits and pieces for my daughter,

I then decided to test the waters and jumped on a few Wedding Forums and find out about Brides to be thoughts on Custom Wedding Garters, the feedback was amazing and very positive, i then received an email from a lady who had seen some of my photos on one of the forums and she was interested in stocking my Wedding Garters! So Custom Wedding Garters Australia was born! That was Just over 12 months ago now and my small business has grown so much since then and I have also. I have created what i believe is thousands of garters for Brides to be all over the world! My range is forever expanding and i'm always looking to create new designs and help Brides to be for there special day! This Year I am hoping my little business will grow even more I have attended the I do, I do Wedding Expo In Bendigo on the 10th of April 2011 and Also the Echuca Moama Weddig Expo on the 22nd of May 2011.
